About me
My career of web development started in March of 2019 when I accepted an offer as a full stack engineer with Starbucks. Working in the Global Digital Products organization, I've contributed numerous hours and much effort to our team's multiple domains including the company's progressive web app, the core Starbucks site, and a react-static stack. In this position I've specialized in engineering features with React & Node ranging from beta experiences to implementing security flows such as multi-factor-authentication. This has by far been the most exciting and rewarding step in my journey as a web developer.
Prior to my role as a developer, I went through a 10-week intern program as a Project Manager for Starbucks within their Corporate Technology division. I accepted a full time offer as an Associate Project Manager beginning Summer of 2018. As a full time project manager, I strove to hone my management and organizational skills while learning the traits of leadership and teamwork.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Geography, and a focus in Geographic Information Systems. In April of my Freshman year, I was hired at a technology loan program funded by the University's student technology fee. After around two months I applied for and was hired as a Manager for the program. In this position I oversaw around 15 student employees and the procurement, processing and management of new technology on an annual basis. I also worked as the web developer for the program's website.
